As with any of our other pest control services, the first step we take in controlling mosquitoes is to give your property a thorough inspection. Mosquitoes can reproduce in less than an ounce of standing water, so one of the major things we look for is any ponds, puddles, or leaks that may provide a breeding ground.

We have a variety of treatment techniques available, such as larvicide to prevent new mosquitoes from breeding, as well as automated or remote-controlled fogging systems for adult ones. Sometimes we may also use specialized traps like the In2Care mosquito trap. Typically, we will use some combination of these methods tailor-made to your specific needs.

The itchy bites that mosquitoes leave behind – and the fact that they can fly – have made them perhaps the most widely-hated bloodsucking pest on the planet. While their bites are simply irritating for many of us, they can be painful and downright dangerous for those who are allergic to them.

But the risks posed by mosquitoes go well beyond that, as their bites can also be a major transmitter of disease. West Nile virus is the most common mosquito-borne illness in the United States, and although harmless to some, it can result in severe flu-like symptoms in others. Similar diseases that mosquitoes carry include the Chikungunya virus, Zika virus, and Dengue fever.
