THE ENDLESS CONTRACT

Sometimes, a pest or pests will return within a short time after treatment, no biggie, that is a part of pest control and that’s when you’ll want the pest control company to come back since you have a warranty to retreat the problem areas or where you may still be seeing activity. But what if your company refused or said that that service wasn’t covered? 

Or what if you signed a contract thinking it was for a one-time service because the salesperson was not being transparent and now they keep showing up and charging your card even when you tell them to stop!

There are some disreputable companies who will attempt to scam you into The Endless Contract for their services or not honor what is in the agreement. Or they may say that those pests are extra. 

Make sure to protect yourself from these types of scams by thoroughly reading any agreement and discuss the terms and conditions with your pest control provider. Make sure to look for the following things.

• The Warranty, What Pests are Covered and Which are Not
• The Retreatment Policy
• The Cancellation Policy
• Frequency of Service
• Scheduling Policy
• Notification Policy – Text, Email, etc
• Billing or Autopay Information
